One project finished, and with that a new foundation gained. I went into last year with a rekindled passion, and a desire to achieve something for myself in photography. Not only did I keep with it, but I set a level to eventually beat in the future. I also gave back with this project by documenting the data so Cornell could use the information on the wildlife I photographed for their research.
This year is a big year for our household. We have made the decision to change up our home, and we have found Wichita, KS to be very welcoming and family friendly. We are moving states in the fourth quarter to 2025 and will be starting something new! We are excited and feel good about the choice. I don’t know if the city will be our forever place and the ocean still calls to us, but for now we are looking forward to making the most of this new adventure.
I have some projects in mind, and I haven’t even full arrived there yet. I will still have a strong motivation to explore and document the wildlife there, but I also have a project in mind for the local area and documenting the great local things and sharing that with the community. I also want to push more and develop my portrait skills.
